Pannier is a new brand & website that wants to become the hub for cycle touring. It works in three ways, telling inspiring stories to motivate you, enabling you to plan your trip using community plotted maps and training programmes, & provides a one stop shop to buy all the bits you need.
A refreshing break from the uniformed, competitive side of road cycling, the brand wanted to show people a different type of cycling, one that is slower, contemplative and good for the soul. The identity takes all its references from the romantic idea of plotting a journey on a map. The rest of the brand feels nostalgic & warm to polarise it against the hard faced world of competitive cycling.
We designed the overall strategy, look & feel for the brand as well as the IA and design for the e-commerce and story telling site. Now who fanices a ride?
